In the sun, the 'Serious 7' finishes quickly, completing before most other plants. The buds are large and usually free of fungus. This makes it the ideal plant for those wishing to grow in their gardens outside. As well as surviving conditions which make other plants susceptible to fungus, it's built to be ready before the really bad autumn weather kicks in.

With 'Serious 7', every grower can be proud of their end product! This plant is an improvement from the white pheno of 'Serious 6'. We have been working on this plant for many years. Finally, we found a great mother plant. The original plan was to make a fully pink version of 'Serious 6', but instead the result is 'Serious 7', with only white pistils. What is the difference? A plant like 'Serious 7' is more uniform than a plant like 'Serious 6' in every aspect, while a plant like 'Serious 6' has a greater amount of variation overall. There is a similar harvest date for all 'Serious 7' plants as that of the earliest 'Serious 6' plants (if you live in the north, it will be harvested later, if you live in the south, it will be harvested earlier). Both 6 and 7 are generally ready by September. You may get yours even before September if you live in the south (France/Spanish). When growing in the garden, this plant has a similar odor to 'Serious 6'; lemony and anise with spicy undertones, but it is usually less pungent than 'Serious 6'. It is definitely advantageous if you want to maintain good relations with nosey neighbors. The crystal content of 'Serious 7' also makes it an interesting plant for anyone who wants to collect trichomes for hash production. As well as being a bit stronger, it always has white pistils, not pink, like the 'Serious 6' has. The pink colour of 'Serious 6' isn't what we wanted, but in breeding you have to make choices. As long as the plants are alive, they retain their pink colours. Dried buds do not. The '7' doesn't tend to grow as tall as the 'Serious 6' either. Plants grown before May and around the end of May can grow into really tall 'Serious 6' plants that may be visible to neighbors. The '7' will also grow bigger if started early, but not as tall as the '6'. Overall, the 'Serious 7' is the best choice for gardens with neighbours. The '6' should not be grown indoors under lights. Why? There is a small chance that a small number will become hermies. It is easy to spot the few problematic Serious 6 plants indoors. Ser.6 either turns hermie or not. In either case, full clusters of male flowers will appear on the plant. Female plants are never covered in small hidden flowers, so you don't have to look for them. While most of the 'Serious 6' won't herm, even one or two hermies in a grow room will ruin everything if they are left to ripen and shed pollen. A 'Serious 6' is not a problem outside. You won't see hermies in your outdoor garden. However, be aware that it could cause problems indoors as well. This makes the '6' not suitable for everyone indoors, and we want to warn our customers about it. (Despite many experienced growers having grown the '6' indoors with excellent results, not everyone will remove the problem plants in time to prevent seeds from growing.)

In spite of the fact that we have not grown the '7' indoors at all, all flowering and selections have been done outdoors, we suspect it would be a much better choice to grow indoors than the 'Serious 6'. The information we have at the time of writing this text is not sufficient to give sound advice on growing the 'Serious 7' indoors. Therefore, we welcome any feedback and reports from those who have grown the '7' indoors. As we learn more about indoor growing, we will update this description. We want to give honest information, even if it turns out to be negative. 'Serious 7' is a rewarding strain. Only after we started giving away this variety as a promo seed to people who bought 'Serious 6' on the Serious website, we began selling it. Our goal was to get feedback about how the variety compares to 'Serious 6'.
