A old dutch cut by the name of K2, a hybrid of White widow and Hindu Kush, known for its small Christmas style planst, great branching and tight rounded nuggets, very high in resin, the Karma Sour D bx2 gave it a lot of vigor and much faster growing plants, yields where boosted and it gave a nice Gasssy background to this hybrid.
Sherpa is a reasonably well balanced strain that has only around a 60% Sativa dominance. This is great because it gives a balanced effect and some might say the best of both worlds. Karma Genetics Sherpa has a mix of lineage with genetics coming from Mexico (Sativa), Columbia (Sativa), Thailand (Sativa), Afghanistan and parts of India (Indica). The plants are well balanced with a medium height that is quite easy to grow and produces a nice even canopy of buds when topped. The plants are quite resilient and should grow to around 125cm. Sherpa is for growers of all abilities and can be adapted to many gardening methods. Karma Genetics was officially founded in 2008 after winning a cup at the IC420 cup in Amsterdam. Breeding began in 2000, and they have been working in the Dutch canna-scene since 1996, first in a coffee shop, and then in a grow shop.
Their strains are geared towards serious growers who want top quality cannabis and stable genetics. Their focus is on the professional market, and not so much on the amateur market.
Most of their strains are aimed at advanced growers, with a few varieties aimed at beginners/amateurs. Karma is bringing back a true old school Dutch legend: the Southern A5haze clone selected by Neville during his Dutch working days. They've just begun an extensive backcrossing project on it.
For real collaborations they have done some work with Mosca Negra, Canna Venture, and are currently working with Horti-Lab, combining his award winning Starbud Sister clone with Karma Elite Biker Kush male. Headbanger, Biker Kush, and Ghostrider V2.0 are their top three favourite strains, according to Karma.
