In the late 1990s, Mr Soul, the breeder of Brothers Grimm Seeds, collaborated with the dearly departed Vic High of BCGA in Canada to create the original Space Queen. Space Queen XX is one of the newest feminized strains from Brothers Grimm Seeds. Vic's infamous Romulan female was crossed with Brother Grimm's Cinderella 99 male to create the original Space Queen.
As a result of Space Queen's massive success, the dearly departed Subcool's work reached new heights. As a result, Brothers Grimm decided to bring back this exceptional strain, but with a twist by bringing it to the market as a feminized variety. As the pollen donor for Vic Highs' authentic original Romulan clone, Space Queen XX was selected from the original 1999 release of the C99 seeds based on its pineapple pheno-leaning characteristics. Through this breeding process, Romulan's most desirable traits have been fused with Cinderella 99's sweetness and spice. Space Queen XX is an extremely vigorous plant that produces a unique resin coating that coats the massive, tightly bound colas in thick layers. Space Queen XX also has an incredible flower-to-bud ratio, a trait passed down from her Romulan mother.
A highly evergreen tree-shaped indica dominant strain, Space Queen XX produces a great deal of resin throughout flowering. As a hefty yielder, Space Queen XX requires support of its heavy branches in order to achieve her high yields. Brothers Grimm Seeds recommends supporting heavy branches due to this reason. She will also express vibrant purple hues as temperatures drop, which contrast beautifully with resin production. As she inhales, her flavor profile changes from intensely funky to a fruity flavour balanced by a lasting sandalwood aftertaste. The high is energetic and inspiring.

Brother Grimm Seeds was founded in 1996 when Mr Soul and partner Sly arranged to distribute cannabis strains through Canadian seed reseller Heaven's Stairway. As a result of selectively backcrossing, cubing, and inbreeding some of the rarest cannabis genetics, Brothers Grimm has become known for cultivating high-quality cannabis with high potency, short flowering times, a high resin yield, and intensely tropical terpenes. Security concerns forced the company to close abruptly in 2002. As soon as our seeds ceased to be available, growers either jealously guarded their favourite clone mothers or shared them with friends. In the past, some breeders have used Cinderella & Apollo to create original hybrids and breed for filial generations as far back as F5.
Over a decade passed before Mr. Soul was able to retrieve the seeds and clones he had hidden away. Duke Diamond and he developed a concrete plan to resurrect Brothers Grimm in Colorado in 2015. Our company's foundation is built on the combination of these two breeders' abilities, as well as a wide variety of unique cannabis cultivars.
